	Cotman (John Joseph) (1814-1878)
	The second son of John Sell Cotman. He studied under his father and at first helped him with his teaching duties at King’s College School in London.		After he returned to Norwich in 1834 he tried to make a living as a teacher. He exhibited a number of times at the Royal Academy. www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk
