	Stannard (Emily) (1803-1885)
	Emily Stannard comes from the very well-known Stannard family of painters. The Stannards were one of the notable Norwich families whose artistic talents came to prominence during the nineteenth century.		Emily's husband, Joseph Stannard, was a respected painter, as was his brother, Alfred. Their daughters Emily and Eloise Harriet were also recognised artists. www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk
